KASPA is honored to welcome Jeongwon Park, Ph.D. as Advisor! Dr. Park is a Full Professor in the Department of Electrical and Biomedical Engineering at the University of Nevada, Reno (UNR), where he has served since July 2019. Previously, he was an Associate Professor in the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Ottawa (2016–2021), where he continues to hold an Adjunct Professorship.

His distinguished career includes roles as a Scientist at the SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory, Stanford University (2014–2016), and as a Senior Technologist at Applied Materials (2008–2014), where he provided strategic technical leadership for the Chief Technology Officer and multiple business units. Dr. Park also served as a Guest Researcher at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (2005–2008), an Adjunct Professor of Electrical Engineering at Santa Clara University (2009–2016), and a Visiting Scholar in the Department of Electrical Engineering at Stanford University (2013–2014).

Dr. Park earned his Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of California, San Diego. He is a Senior Member of the IEEE and a Member of the National Academy of Inventors.

KASPA is honored to welcome Sirisha Kuchimanchi, Ph.D. as an advisor! As the founder of Sahita Technologies and its Workforce Development & STEM Outreach programs, Dr. Kuchimanchi will guide KASPA on workforce development and STEM-engineering education through storytelling. She is also Co-Founder and COO of Xtrium, an early-stage startup redefining how industries select and apply materials using AI-enhanced insights, building a scalable platform, engaging early customers, and forging strategic partnerships to drive adoption and impact.

A former Global Engineering & Manufacturing Executive at Texas Instruments and Applied Materials alum, Dr. Kuchimanchi brings over two decades of experience in engineering, manufacturing, and operational excellence. She holds a Ph.D. and M.S. in Materials Science & Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and a B.Sc. & M.Sc. in Physics.

KASPA is honored to have Jeongdong Choe, Ph.D. join us as an advisor, bringing 30 years of expertise in semiconductor process integration for DRAM, (V) NAND, SRAM, and logic devices. Dr. Choe holds a Ph.D. in Electronic Engineering from Sungkyunkwan University, along with a master’s and bachelor’s degree in Materials Engineering (Metallurgical) from Yonsei University. His career includes leadership roles as a Team Lead in R&D at SK-Hynix and Samsung, where he played a pivotal role in optimizing process and device architectures using advanced technologies for mass production.

Currently, at TechInsights, Dr. Choe focuses on semiconductor process, device, and architecture analysis. He has authored numerous publications on memory technology, including insights on DRAM trends, 2D and 3D NAND process/device integration, and emerging memory technologies like STT-MRAM, XPoint, ReRAM, and FeRAM. Additionally, he regularly updates and publishes a widely circulated memory roadmap for DRAM, NAND, and emerging memory technologies.

Dr. Choe holds over 100 filed and issued patents in semiconductor process integration. His vast experience and technical expertise make him a valuable addition to the KASPA team.

KASPA is honored to welcome Maurizio Di Paolo Emilio, Ph.D. in Physics, Content Editor & Technical Writer, as an advisor. With a background in Telecommunications Engineering, Dr. Di Paolo Emilio brings extensive expertise in power electronics, wide bandgap semiconductors, renewable energy, embedded systems, and quantum computing. He played a key role in developing the thermal compensation system (TCS) for the Virgo and LIGO experiments, which led to the groundbreaking detection of gravitational waves and the 2017 Nobel Prize.

Since 2007, Dr. Di Paolo Emilio has served as a reviewer for scientific publications, including Microelectronics Journal and IEEE journals. He has also collaborated with various electronics industry companies and contributed to numerous Italian and English blogs and magazines, such as Electronics World, Elektor, Mouser, Automazione Industriale, Electronic Design, All About Circuits, Fare Elettronica, Elettronica Oggi, and PCB Magazine, where he has worked as a technical writer and editor specializing in a range of electronics and technology topics.

From 2015 to 2018, Dr. Di Paolo Emilio was the editor-in-chief of Firmware and Elettronica Open Source, two prominent technical blogs and magazines focused on the electronics industry. Since 2019, Dr. Di Paolo Emilio has been an AspenCore content editor. He is currently editor-in-chief of Power Electronics News and Embedded, and a correspondent for EE Times.
